This Guitar String Stretcher enables you to do two things that will save you having the new guitar strings your are fitting cut into your hand during the string change process:
1. It will help you to maintain tension on the string as you wind it onto the capstan, meaning you will achieve a neat winding; and
2. It will enable you to gently stretch the string just after it is fitted, so that it achieves tuning stability quicker when the guitar is tuned up to standard pitch.
