This is a good quality, low cost addition to your guitar maintenance kit.

It can enable you to do some home diagnosis of any high or uneven frets you may have on your guitar that could cause buzzing or dead spots. Four different length sides enable you to span a 3 fret distance all over the fretboard so you can create the 'rocking' motion that will identify any high fret in the middle of two others.
